Beautiful carved wooden stool of the HeHe tribe in Tanzania.
The Hehe pastoralist people lived in isolation on a highland in southwestern Tanzania, northeast of Lake Nyasa. These unique three legged stools were used for sitting on while milking the cattle. From every day use, you'll see cracks and scrapes which give these authentic stools character.
