Original hand carved Senufo stool from Ivory Coast. Beautiful modern shape with traditional tapered legs. Amazingly carved from one solid piece of indigenous hardwood.

The Sonufo are an ethnic group composed of diverse subgroups of Gur-speaking people living in an area spanning from southern Mali and the extreme western corner of Burkino Faso to Ivory Coast. The stools are still in wonderful condition. It dates from the first half of the 20th century
